Say hello to your new third line winger...Mark Recchi.
Yea, you read that correctly. The Bruins sent Matt Lashoff (see ya, bitch) and Martins Karsums (we hardly knew ye) to the Lightning in exchange for a 2010 2nd rounder and Recchi.
At present, i'd have to speculate that Recchi bumps Bitz to Providence and puts Axlesson on that 4th line.
Montador probably puts Ward (injured, it appears) on the bench and Hnidy and Hunwick are still fighting for the 6th D spot.

Mark Recchi, seriously? Didn't he die in 1998? I'm pretty sure I remember him being rad... IN NHL 94.
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, he not only won a cup in 1991 with the Penguins, he also snagged up the Cup in 2006 with your beloved Whale (now Canes of Hurri).
ReplyDeleteI will say this much, i'm going to feel alot more comfortable with Recchi winging the PP than Axelsson.
